Low-cost training opportunities for 2024
As part of the 2024 Smart & Skilled program, low-cost training places are available, though spots are limited. These government-subsidised courses help you develop the skills needed for in-demand roles across industries. However, the availability of subsidised spots is subject to the following conditions:
Subsidised courses must commence between 1 July 2024 and 31 December 2024
There must be availability in the subsidised spot allocations
You must meet specific eligibility requirements (outlined below)
Eligibility criteria: Who can get government-subsidised courses in NSW?
You may be eligible to enrol in a government-subsidised course if you meet the following conditions:
15 years old or over
no longer at school
living or working in NSW
an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen.
