About First Base Training
Our ethos
Founded on a strong ethic of compassion and assistance to people and communities in need, we aim to get in touch with the core needs and ambitions of our students and clients alike whilst consistently guiding our students towards achieving their nationally recognised qualification.
We deliver vocational education and training (VET) programs in accordance with nationally agreed legislation and standards. All qualifications delivered by First Base Training are industry-current and nationally recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework.
Experienced trainers active in industry
We have been proudly delivering training programs since 2010. We’ve cemented a reputation as educational leaders in delivering Aged Care, Disability, and Early Childhood Education & Care qualifications.
We believe that keeping current with industry standards and practices is key to quality training. At FBT, our trainers stay current in their industry by gaining additional qualifications in their field or working in industry to ensure they pass on the most relevant and up-to-date knowledge to students.
Our core values
We will always strive to conduct ourselves professionally, honestly and with integrity whilst serving students fairly and respectfully. To do this we ensure our team actions are accountable as we continue to maintain a high standard of service. We expect all members of the FBT community to work collaboratively both as a team within the organisation and in the broader industry towards our shared mission and vision.
